International Women’s Day of Prayer

The International Women’s Day of Prayer was meaningfully observed at Pretoria City Seventh-day Adventist Church, with the church’s Young Adventist Women in Ministry (YAWM) leading a spiritually enriching week of prayer. The initiative brought together women of all ages for a time of reflection, fellowship, and renewed commitment to God’s mission.

The week of prayer culminated on Sabbath with a heartwarming and thought-provoking sermon that challenged women to recognize their value in God’s work and to faithfully live out their calling in the church, the home, and society.

The message inspired many to recommit themselves to a life of prayer, service, and spiritual leadership.

To conclude the special observance, the women gathered on Sunday for a fellowship picnic, creating an opportunity to celebrate sisterhood, strengthen bonds, and reflect on the blessings of the week. The joyful outing provided a relaxed space for conversation, laughter, and gratitude for God’s guidance.
